VIEW Magazine issue 10 is now available!

VIEW Magazine is an original, independent art photography magazine available for the iPad and iPhone - free to subscribe to and download.

We select and curate beautiful photography from across the world, presented in a clean and minimal app interface.

Note: If you previously subscribed to VIEW Magazine updating the app to this new version will remove issues 1-5 from the app and enable you to download the latest issue, 6. We are working to reintroduce all previous issues as soon as we can. Due to the new publishing system we need to recreate each issue again.

-----------------------

The magazine exhibits a wide variety of topics and styles. “Views”, a portfolio review of mostly unsung, talented photographers (many of whom we found on the web) whose simple passion for looking is exciting; “Projects”, which highlights some long-term assignments or personal passions; “Quotes”, our sincere attempt to introduce text on the subject by some great writers as well as our short manifesto and ways to connect with us online.

Pros and cons of VIEW Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

VIEW Magazine app good for

This is a magazine-app full of interesting and well made photos. Great app!
With every new issue, there’s always inspiring new contemporary photographers to discover. Love it!
So impressive and beautiful photo magazine. Feel like wondering and standing on the corner of a street. Highly reccomend.

Some bad moments

This is a great start to a very simple but brilliant iPad magazine. The photography was certainly different, some were good and some were not to my liking, but everything was interesting. The layout was impressive and easy to browse. I cant wait to see more Marc Sadowski of The Lens Wipe.
This app is a great idea for the iPad and takes full advantage of the large screen and gestures, which make reading a magazine a different kind of experience than just flipping pages, real or electronic. If youre a photography enthusiast, this is a great addition to your Newsstand and totally worth the subscription. Enjoy those periodic subway breakdowns and instead of verbally assaulting your fellow A train passengers, flip through the lovely views, vistas, and photographic art of VIEW Magazine.
More pictures/less articles. I highly recommend it if you want to explore the artists work and not their philosophies on the medium (which is interesting too).
I am really enjoying the photographs. Great editing. Looking forward to more editions.
When is the latest issue going to be posted??? It hasnt been updated in over two months!!
Enjoy selection of images and format. I especially like that the photographs chosen are not the usual nature or landscape but are more unexpected, interesting and varied.
